Terms & Conditions

  1. Organiser
    The Organiser of the contest is Carlsberg Marketing Sdn Bhd [198501008089(140534-M)].

  2. Contest Period
    The Contest period is from 28 December 2020 (12.01am Malaysian Time) and will close on 14 February 2021 (11.59pm Malaysian Time).

  3. Eligibility
    This Contest is open to all non-Muslims aged 21 years or above who are residents in Malaysia. All Participants are subject to the criteria set out below, the Standard Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions herein and the relevant laws of Malaysia.

    Employees of the Organiser, its associate agencies, affiliates, distributors, dealers, sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate in this promotion.

  4. How to participate in the Promotion
    Step 1
    : Purchase any of the participating Carlsberg products worth of RM28 and above in a single receipt from participating chains during the Contest Period.

    Participating Chains:

    3. KK Mart
    4. MyNews
    5. Orange Mart
    6. 7-Eleven outlets in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah & Sarawak, excluding Langkawi
      (collectively referred to as “Participating Chains”)

    Participating Carlsberg Products:
    1. Carlsberg Danish Pilsner
    2. Carlsberg Smooth Draught
    3. Somersby (assorted variants)
    4. 1664 Blanc
    5. Asahi
    6. Royal Stout
    7. Skol
    8. Carlsberg Special Brew
    9. Corona
    10. Nutrimalt
    11. Jolly Shandy
      (collectively referred to as “Participating Carlsberg Products”)

    Step 2: Write full name (as per Malaysia Identity Card/Passport) and IC/Passport No. on the front side of each proof of purchase (“Receipt”). Must be clear and readable. Snap a photo of each Receipt (front) and key in Name (as per your IC) <SPACE> I/C No.<SPACE>Receipt No.<SPACE> and Whatsapp to 012-574 0001.

    1. Participants are required to safe keep the original Receipt for verification purposes, failing which, the Organiser shall forfeit the Prize. Each Participant must have a valid Touch ‘n Go ewallet account.

    2. The Organiser will send out acknowledgment report to successful entry only through instant messaging app ‘WhatsApp’ (“Qualified Entries”).

    3. The Organiser shall be entitled to request the original Identity Card or the originals of other supporting documents/materials for verification purposes.

    4. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify and remove any Participant from the Promotion without prior notification or disclosure of information should the Participant be suspected of tampering with their entries or breach the Promotion terms and conditions.

  5. Winners, Prizes, and Terms and Conditions of Prizes

    1. All Qualified Entries received will be serialized based on the date & time of WhatsApp submission.

    2. The first ten thousand (10,000) Qualified Entries received within the Promotion Period will be eligible to receive the Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit (“Prize”).

    3. The amount of Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit will allocate based on the serialized numbers of the Qualified Entries received during the Contest Period as per schedule below:

      *Winner sequence will start from 1st.again after 100th entries.
      For eg: if the Participant’s entry is valid and falls on 20th serial number entry, he/she will win RM18 Touch ‘N Go eWallet credit.

    4. Each Participant can only win one (1) Touch ’n Go eWallet credit per week based on the following schedule:

      • Week 1: 28th December 2020 to 3rd January 2021

      • Week 2: 4th January 2021 to 10th January 2021

      • Week 3: 11th January 2021 to 17th January 2021

      • Week 4: 18th January 2021 to 24th January 2021

      • Week 5: 25th January 2021 to 31st January 2021

      • Week 6: 1st February 2021 to 7th February 2021

      • Week 7: 8th February 2021 to 14th February 2021

    5. All submissions are on a first-come-first-served basis.

    6. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute with a Prize of similar value, with or without notice.

    7. All Touch ‘n Go eWallet credits are non-refundable, not transferrable or non-exchangeable or convertible to cash or any other items.

    8. Usage of Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit shall be subject to Touch ‘n Go’s eWallet Terms & Conditions.

  6. Notification of Winners and Redemption of Prizes

    1. The Organiser will notify the Winners through instant messaging app ‘WhatsApp’ to the same mobile number at the point of submission received.

    2. Touch ‘N Go eWallet credit will be credited directly into the Winner’s Touch ’n Go eWallet account within seven (7) working days from notification of the winning Prize.

    3. In the event that the Organiser finds the presented receipt is not authentic or invalid then the Organiser shall be entitled to disqualify the Winner and forfeit the Prize from the Winner without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

    4. The Organiser shall reserve the right to award the Prize to an alternative Participant at its sole discretion at any time.

  7. Privacy Policy
    By participating, the Participant explicitly consents that the Organiser shall store the necessary personal data of the Participant. The Participant is free to revoke his or her consent to the storage of data by sending an email to the Organiser and by doing so, the Participant is withdrawing his or her participation in this Promotion. The Organiser will use its best endeavours to keep all personal data stored for the purpose of this Promotion strictly confidential.

  8. Additional Terms

    1. Each Participant agrees that he/she has read and understood these Terms of Promotion and by participating in the Promotion, each participant will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to each of the terms and conditions appearing herein the Terms of Promotion.

    2. The Organiser is also not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, failure in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, the website, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, system, apparatus, software, failure of e-mail or receipt of entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet and/or telecommunication services.

    3. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

    4. The Promotion Terms and the Carlsberg’s Standard Terms and Conditions (collectively “Terms and Conditions”) shall be binding on all Participants who participate in this Promotion. The definitions in the Carlsberg’s Standard Terms and Conditions shall apply unless otherwise expressly stated in the Promotion Terms. In the event of any discrepancies between these terms and conditions and any advertising, Promotion, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with this Promotion, the final terms and conditions on Carlsberg’s website shall prevail.
