Terms & Conditions

  1. The Organiser
    The Organiser of the Promotion is Carlsberg Marketing Sdn Bhd 198501008089 (140534-M).

  2. Promotion Period
    The validity period of this Promotion shall be from 28 December, 2020 to 14 February, 2021 at participating Modern Bars, Café, Bistros & Restaurants, Traditional Coffee Shops, Hawker store & Food courts (“Participating Outlets”) in Malaysia.

  3. Eligibility
    1. This Promotion is open to all non-Muslim aged 21 years or over of Malaysian Nationality subject to other criteria set out below, the Standard Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions herein and the relevant laws of Malaysia.
    2. Employees of the Organiser, its associate agencies, affiliates, distributors, dealers, sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies, and members of their immediate families will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion.
    3. This Promotion is only valid for purchases made on or within the Contest Period as stated above. Any purchases made prior or after the Contest Period is not eligible.

  4. The Prizes

    1. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any winning prize with a prize of similar value, with or without notice. The Organiser’s decision is final and no correspondences thereafter will be entertained.
    2. All Prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items. Non-redemption within the notified period will be forfeited.

  5. Promotion Mechanics
    How to Participate?
    1. With any purchase of one (1) BIG bottle of Carlsberg (640ml) or Carlsberg Smooth Draught (580ml).
    2. Check underneath the crown cork/bottle cap and refer to the information contained in Point Of Sales Materials (“POSM”) on the Promotion at the Participating Outlets for the details of type of crown cork/bottle caps.
    3. Consumer need to safe keep the valid crown cork/bottle cap for verification and to redeem prizes.
    Prize Redemption
    1. Consumer must scan QR Code (which will direct to the dedicated WhatsApp No.) or WhatsApp to 011 3676 2583 listed on the POSM,
    2. Take a photo of the winning caps, the relevant personal particulars as requested (Name, NRIC number, e-mail address, date of birth, and mobile number). Participant must ensure all details fill in the submission is correct.
    3. Upon complete verification, the Organiser’s appointed Agency will deliver the Prize to the Winner (within 60 working days from the winners’ notification).
    4. The Agency will collect the winning caps from the Winner and a photo session with the Winner will take place as a proof of delivery and may use it for promotional purposes.

    The Organiser and the appointed Agency reserves the right to forfeit the winning prize from the Winner in the event, the Winner fails to provide the winning cap at the point of delivery.

    1. Consumer must submit the valid crown cork/bottle cap at the nearest Distributor or participating outlet for verification purposes in order to redeem the winning Prize. Failure to provide valid crown cork/bottle cap for whatsoever reason shall result being disqualified and the Organiser shall be entitled to forfeit the Winning Prize from the winning Consumer.
    2. The Organiser will immediately forfeit the Winning Prize from Consumer, in the event, valid crown cork/bottle cap is damaged, not authentic or invalid and/or the security feature placed by Carlsberg has been tampered without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
    1. Consumer must submit eight (8) valid crown corks/bottle caps at the Participating Outlet for verification purposes in order to redeem the winning Prize. Failure to provide correct number of valid crown corks/bottle caps for whatsoever reason shall result being disqualified and the Organiser shall be entitled to forfeit the Winning Prize from the winning Consumer.
    2. The Organiser will immediately forfeit the Winning Prize from Consumer, in the event, valid crown cork/bottle cap is damaged, not authentic or invalid and/or the security feature placed by Carlsberg has been tampered without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
    Redemption period
    1. Any redemption must be made before 14 February, 2021 or while stocks last, whichever is earlier. Failing which, any redemption after the Redemption period shall not be entertained.
    2. Redemption items cannot be exchanged for cash or any other items. The Organiser reserves the absolute right to substitute the prize or redemption item with that of similar value at any time with or without prior notice.
    3. The Organiser shall reserve the right to select an alternative Winner at its sole discretion at any time.
  6. Privacy Policy
    By participating, Consumer explicitly consents that the Organiser shall store the necessary personal data of the Consumer. The Consumer is free to revoke his or her consent to the storage of data by sending an email to the Organiser as stated below and by doing so, the Consumer withdraws his or her participation in this Promotion. The Organiser will use its best endeavours to keep all personal data stored for the purpose of this Promotion strictly confidential.

  7. Additional Terms
    1. By participating, Consumer agree to the terms & conditions applied.
    2. The Organiser is also not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay, failure in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, user or member communications, or any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, the website, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, system, apparatus, software, failure of e-mail or receipt of entry on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet and/or telecommunication services.
    3. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
    4. The Promotion Terms and the Carlsberg’s Standard Terms and Conditions (collectively “Terms and Conditions”) shall be binding on all Consumer who participate in this Contest. The definitions in the Carlsberg’s Standard Terms and Conditions shall apply unless otherwise expressly stated in the Promotion Terms. In the event of any discrepancies between these terms and conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with this Promotion, the final terms and conditions on Carlsberg’s website shall prevail.
